Mikko is an up-and-coming actor from Finland. He graduated from the Theatre Academy of Tampere in 2019, and since that time has worked with a focus both on stage and on screen. He has appeared in numerous theatre performances, including the musicals CABARET, and THE LITTLE MERMAID. He became widely known in Finland after playing the key role of ‘Kuisma’ in the popular feel-good comedy series AIKUISET. His other notable credits include: the miniseries ROSVOPANKKI which was written & directed by Matti Kinnunen; the surreal drama THE WORST IDEA EVER which was directed by Pamela Tola; SYKE as ‘Kristian Tiili’; crime thriller PIIRITYS as ‘Mikael Koivu’; MAN IN ROOM 301 by Mikko Kuparinen; and Nils-Erik Ekblom’s biographical film SCREWED. Mikko played the part of ‘Jarmo’ in Alli Haapasalo’s awarding-winning feature GIRL PICTURE which premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2022, and which subsequently went on to win the audience award.
