Julian is a Bulgarian actor, producer, and advocate for Slavic and Balkan representation in the Entertainment Industry. He was born in Varna, and graduated from a Spanish and English speaking high school. During that time, Julian was a 10-time swimming champion of Bulgaria. He received his bachelor's degree from Cardiff University and soon after he was accepted into the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. Some of his notable credits include: the fantasy series SHADOW AND BONE; the role of ’Yuri’ in Amazon Primes’ TREADSTONE; the Sky series TEMPLE; the feature FIGHT OR FLIGHT opposite Josh Hartnett; the Bulgarian indie film TRIUMPH by award winning director duo Peter Valchanov & Kristina Grozeva; a recurring guest role on ALEX RIDER; the Belgian war drama THE LAST FRONT; as ‘Luca’ in the Channel 4 comedy series BACK with David Mitchell and Robert Webb; the historic war drama ANOTHER MOTHER'S SON; as ‘Timur’ in A DISCOVERY OF WITCHES; and as ‘Juan’ in the comedy series FLACK alongside Oscar winner Anna Paquin for Amazon. Julian’s upcoming work includes the long awaited reboot of THE TOXIC AVENGER opposite Elijah Wood and Peter Dinklage, and he plays the iconic villain ‘Vladimir Makarov’ in the remake of the most popular video game shooter in the world - CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 3.
